Packaging: Yellow Chocolate by Strategy

I can always remember as a kid learning how powerful colour was when in came to food, I was watching a TV show and they dyed potatoes green – needless to say, it wasn’t very appetising.

Now I find myself mulling over this project by Strategy, it’s definitely fun, and it gets you talking – which I’m guessing is entirely the point.

In which case, job well done.

“We embraced the absurdness of yellow chocolate and created a look that played up the magical, playful nature of the idea. The result? The chocolate sold out in 10 days and became a collector’s item on Trademe, and the campaign was awarded the Grand Axis, the Titanium gold Axis and the Integrated gold Axis at the 2011 CAANZ Axis awards.”
