Branding: Mend by Katie Tonkovich

I have had this project on my ‘must post soon’ list for far to long now, and I seriously love it. This is ‘Mend’, a fictitious branding and packaging project by American graphic design student Katie Tonkovich.

“The design brief for this project was to create a collection of survival kits based around a fictitious brand. My approach to this project was to try and find a solution that promoted sustainable practices. The idea behind the Mend kits was to promote the practice of consuming less: Don’t buy more stuff. Mend what you have.”

Very cool premise and great execution. Good job, Katie!
