I love this new self-identity for Spanish design studio Javier Bueno. The lovely handwritten typography of the logo really makes it, and of course I love me a little bit of rubber stamp action.

Branding: Roots & Bulbs by Robot Food

Walking around London always leads to great new discoveries, one of my most recent of these being Roots & Bulbs, a fantastic organic superfood, juice and smoothie bar.

I loved the design (and the name) and a quick google search pointed me in the direction of Robot Food, who designed the identity and co-designed the awesome interior.

Branding: Taylor’s Ol’ Fashion Meats by Jeff Rauch

I love this branding for Taylor’s Ol’ Fashion Meats, a high-end Los Angeles area butcher shop, by American graphic designer Jeff Rauch. The whole branding is based around the stamp that’s reminiscent of old cattle branding stamps.

Branding: Büro System by Socio Design

I love this contemporary twist to the apothecary style branding by London-based Socio Design for Büro, a men’s cosmetics range made from natural, sustainable ingredients.

“We created a new brand name, identity and packaging system that focused on the utility of Büro, removing the prettification and emotion that is more typically found in the branding of cosmetic and fragrance products. The use of unprocessed materials in the packaging helped to communicate the purity of the ingredients, thereby embodying its essence in our brand concept.”

Branding: Red Kap by Perky Bros llc

I absolutely love this branding by design studio Perky Bros llc. Not only does it look really great, but there is also a great story behind it. More by Perky Bros here.

“Red Kap asked us to create a lasting imprint on their top 300 apparel distributors with the release of their new Crew Shirt. Instead of merely offering it as a sample, we chose to tell a story. We found 300 hard working people, from mechanics to machinists, and put them to the test. We collected, cleaned and took feedback. Finally, the shirt was repackaged and re-purposed as a powerful selling tool, tested and endorsed by the wearers themselves”

Product Design: OAT porridge on the go by Harriet Price

How many of us just skip breakfast due to lack of time? Well, I’ll tell you – most of us do. Especially here in a busy city like London.

Well designer Harriet Price has come up with a solution, a wholesome porridge maker, kind of like a coffee machine, but for porridge. Quick to use and easy to clean, it’s the perfect solution to your breakfast woes.

Packaging: O’Corra Irish Whiskey by Gary Corr

Last year I featured this great self-identity by Gary Corr, now let me show you this fantastic packaging project that he’s worked on.

O’Corra is an Irish Whiskey, so Gary had used strong Celtic typography and a dear head. But the real thing that I love about this project is the tiny bottles, aren’t they great?
