We recently took our 2nd trip to Iceland, a country so beautiful that every time you leave you can’t help but want to return.

This time we made a short video, including the black sand beaches of Vik and the glacier lagoon of Jökulsárlón.

German photographer Andreas Levers has a portfolio that I could spend hours flicking through.

My favourite collection is his bleached out, desaturated ‘Modern World’ series. A collection that features bold lines, strong symmetries and barely any people or traffic, lending the photographs an eerie, post-apocalyptic feel.

Viktor Egyed is a ‘landscape, nature and fine art amateur photographer’ from Slovakia. He has a really great eye for light and reflection, creating captivating and hauntingly beautiful photographs.

I love this project for a ‘build-your-own’ SLR camera designed by Gudrun Mittendrein and the Lomography design team.

“The camera has a rough look which is also shown in the raw cardboard packaging with 2 color silk screen print. The graphic itself has connections to the Russian constructivism but it is transferred into modern times.”

A beautiful and elegant identity for photographer Pavle Taborosi by Serbian designer Filip Nemet. It even includes and idea for wedding gifts.

“The identity was built around few core things. Photography was depicted as an essential play of dark and light, wedding was grasped as merging of two halves into a one complete whole and all of that displayed in interweaving initial letters. “

I love it when I discover cool new products or brands totally by chance, and that’s exactly how I first found out about my latest purchase; The Challenger’s Almanac.

It’s a fantastic – and seriously beautiful – book jam-packed full of inspiring stories from cool ‘Challenger Brands’ the likes of Sugru, Superjam and Finisterre. I’m only about half way through but I’m loving it so far.

A must read!
