If you’re a designer of any sort, then no doubt you are just as obsessed with beautiful typography as I am. “Ginger Monkey“, otherwise known as Tom Lane, is an amazing typography artist that has worked with such a huge range of clients and on such a wide range of products that I almost don’t know where to start. German photographer Andreas Levers has a portfolio that I could spend hours flicking through.

My favourite collection is his bleached out, desaturated ‘Modern World’ series. A collection that features bold lines, strong symmetries and barely any people or traffic, lending the photographs an eerie, post-apocalyptic feel.

Viktor Egyed is a ‘landscape, nature and fine art amateur photographer’ from Slovakia. He has a really great eye for light and reflection, creating captivating and hauntingly beautiful photographs.

This week I have fallen head over heels for Vera van Wolferen, a Dutch artist and set designer and self-proclaimed ‘Princess of Cardboard Fairyland’. I for one would agree.

Her work is intricate, whimsical and really fun to look at.

I love these seriously intricate maze illustrations by London-based Maria Tiurina for Saatchi & Saatchi.

“I have created three highly-detailed maze-like ink on paper illustrations themed around different environments: plane, camping and home interior. The idea was to show how distracting sounds would almost get lost in a maze or obstacles if you have some of that magical drink, helping to secure a sweet peaceful environment for those who wanna nap.”

I’m not always a huge fan of this French style of character design, but for some reason I’m hooked on these illustrations by Vivien Bertin.

His work is intricate, colourful and very, very cool.
